Paul T. Liistro is Managing Partner of Arbors of Hop Brook Continuing Care Retirement Community in Manchester, CT; Manchester Manor Health Care Center in Manchester, CT; and Vernon Manor Health Care Center in Vernon, CT.

Mr. Liistro is a senior business executive with extensive long-term care and senior care services experience. He has experience in leadership roles within numerous leading health care industry organizations. Mr. Liistro is Immediate Past Chair, Board of Directors for Qualidigm, Quality Improvement Organization for Connecticut; previous Representative at-large, Board of Governors for the American Health Care Association (AHCA) based in Washington, D.C. (2011-2015); and is a member of the Board of Directors for Ann Arbor, Michigan-based HealthCap Liability Insurance Company. He is also immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities (CAHCF; 2010-2014). Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHCA), the Association of Long-Term Care Financial Managers (ALTCFM) and served on the board of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC).

Mr. Liistro earned his B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME and obtained his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia PA.

Keri Johnson is the new Director of Nursing at Manchester Manor. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences and then returned to school to obtain her Registered Nurse degree and graduated Cum Laude in 2011 from Capital Community College. Keri has spent her entire nursing career working in skilled nursing facilities and she brings all that knowledge and experience with her to Manchester Manor. She began her career as a charge nurse, progressing to a supervisor and then unit manager of a 54 bed sub-acute rehab wing. Keri joined the Manchester Manor team in 2018 as a unit manager, then was promoted to the Assistant Director of Nursing, and now has accepted the role of Director of Nursing Services.

Keri looks forward to continuing the excellent nursing care to all our residents and developing exceptional staff members at our family-owned and operated organization.

Mary has over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. She started her career working with elderly clients with Intellectual Disabilities in Group homes for 10 years. She transitioned into LTC/SNF over 20 years ago. Throughout her career Mary has functioned in every role in the SNF starting as a Charge Nurse, progressing to Unit Manager, and then held varies roles such as Staff Development, Infection Preventionist, Medicare nurse and ADNS. Mary was a DNS for many years for a variety of Health Care Centers across Connecticut. Mary has an extensive background in Clinical and Nursing Administration. Mary continually strives to elevate the standard of care, to not only maintain but continually improve the skilled nursing care that will improve performance and outcomes leading to the highest quality of care for the residents she serves.

Claudia Pires is the Director of Admissions at Manchester Manor. She graduated from The University of Connecticut in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She returned to school in 2008 to obtain her certificate as a Therapeutic Recreation Director from Manchester Community College. Claudia has spent her career working in skilled nursing facilities, beginning her career as a Recreation Therapist before transitioning to both a long term care and short term rehab social worker. Claudia joined the Manchester Manor team in 2016 as Social Worker. She was promoted to Director of Admissions in 2020. She enjoys helping others and is committed to helping you and your family with your healthcare needs.

I have been the Food Service Director at Manchester Manor for over 5 years, but have worked with the company for most of my Food Service career. I started working in the Dietary department at our sister facility, learning every position in the department. I then transferred to Manchester Manor to become the full time night cook. After almost 2 years I left to take on my first management position. I later returned to become Manchester Manors Food Service Director. I couldn’t be more thrilled to work with such an amazing team who take pride in what they do. I was able to use my culinary skills to incorporate more homemade dishes and baked goods. Our Dietary team goes above and beyond to ensure our patients/residents are happy with their meals. We offer a wide variety of special menu items to ensure everyone not only eats, but genuinely enjoys their food.

Lisa attended Central Penn School of Business, studying Marketing and Mass Media and is a Graduate of the University of Maine School of Nursing specializing in Therapeutic Recreation. Lisa began her career in pediatrics. She worked as an OTA at a private psychiatric hospital then moved into government service. Lisa worked for both City and State agencies in Maine and Massachusetts before coming to Connecticut where she worked for the Department of Defense; MWR at Subase NLON. Lisa has been with Manchester Manor for 23 years, starting as the Subacute Recreation Therapy Program Manager. She has been the Recreation Therapy and Volunteer Services Director for 21 years. Lisa uses her more than 30 years of management and marketing experience to bring diverse programing to the Patients and Residents.

Gary has worked at MM since 2018. Prior to that he worked at Seabury Meadows for 18 years, and Windsor Hall Rest Home for 6.5 years, dating back to 1993. So in total he has been in Healthcare managing maintenance and housekeeping departments for 28 years. Since 1990 Gary has held a State of Connecticut E2 Electricians License. Gary is also a CAPS (certified againg in place specialist). Gary excells at using his construction and troubleshooting experience when it comes to finding and diagnosing issues within the Physical plant. He is current with life safety regulations and interacts with staff and residents on a daily basis to keep them safe.

Jennifer Crespo has been the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Manchester Manor since 2010. Graduate from Champlain College. A caring and passionate therapist for 26 years of clinical experience well versed in a broad range of programming, treatments, and modalities for restoring function and mitigating disability. Expertise in treating adult and geriatric population. Jennifer began her career as a certified nursing assistant, progressing to a treating therapist and then Rehab Manager within the 3rd year of her career.
